 yeah shame didnt work for me, connected my one table mysql database but then only displayed the field titles and not the field contents so no good for me...

Excel2mysql didn`t work Excel2mysql didn't work... I pointed it to the Excel file, but no SQL file was produced,....end of comment.
 Problem The data in excel are not sent Mysql to the database and it go out an error message.
Not satisfied. It didn't work at all! It was supposed to import my excel file, but only imported the first row! Then, all the buttons didn't work at all.
Quite good, not perfect. Excel2mysql offers a simple and nice functionality to convert Spreadsheets to SQL. This makes data input far easier. The tool could be bigger though. A CMS extension version that would integrate with a CMS and its database directly from an Excel document would be great, but as for now the tool is fine.
Reg- Error updating excel2mysql At the time of export the data from excel to mysql i received the error message like please configuration failed(User Rights)create table failed.....so kindly how shall i rectify the error...where shall i change the configuration setting(User Rights) in Mysql?....please advise me...

Not bad but... I'm new to php / sql and wanted an easy method for uploading data. This was one of several options that I trialled and declined to purchase.
My first concern that at least two referring sites (File Dudes and Fast Download Info) offered a price of just under $30 US dollars. However, both link to Regsoft which wants $49.99 US for the product. I've printed those pages to pdfs and will make them available upon request.
Second, as near I can tell, there's no easy way to match columns. So the Excel needs to be formatted to match the bdase column sequence which ...

This looks like a great program for backing up mysql data bases, although i have not actually used it yet, so am unable to coment on its functinallity.
